It has come to my attention that girls just want to be loved and valued. It’s all girls think about, all girls dream about, all girls ever hope for. It has consumed a girls’ mind. She feels unloved and unappreciated. So girls search and search and are continually disappointed. So girls go back to their past broken relationship and ask questions and want answers and blame themselves and feel unhappy. And then girls find a new broken relationship to only create more problems, questions, answers, and blame to deal with later. When girls could have just avoided it all. Avoided all the broken relationships. Avoided all the temporary relationships trying to make them feel whole. Avoided all the sad, depressing, relentless people, movies, songs, and memories to keep going back on. Because they never felt whole in the first place. And girls will continue to search and fail until their joy is full and satisfied in Christ ALONE. In Christ fully. Not just content with Him, but relying completely on Him. Then maybe Christ has someone planned for you down the road, but if He doesn’t you won’t be hurt because all you’ll ever care about is Him. Girls, we have to make the decision to be whole in Him everyday. Because we will face pain from broken relationships everyday. In the littlest things. So it has to be a conscious decision to stop and ask ourselves why we would want to be with somebody who doesn’t want to be with us. Or why we would want to consume our minds about somebody who doesn’t allow you to be full in Christ. Because that’s where we need to be and where we should want to be.
